Let's hang (10 mins)

Goals of activity:
To help participants realise that we have to trust each other and work together.

Activity guidelines:
Step 1:
Everybody stands up and finds a partner. Look for a place in the classroom where you have enough space, you should have one arms length around you.
Step 2:
Stand face to face with your partner, with the noses of your shoes touching each other.
Hold hands (both your hands) and slowly start to hang backwards. You should leave your feet at the same place. Try to hang backwards as relaxed as possible with your arms stretched.
Stand still for about 10 seconds and then slowly come back up.
Step 3:
When everybody in the class has finished the exercise, the teacher gives a signal to find a new partner.
Look for another partner and make sure you have enough space around you.
When eveybody has found a new partner, you repeat the exercise.
Repeat the exercise five times, with different partners.
