Elephant and Tree (10 mins)
Goals of activity:To create an open and active atmosphere.
Activity guidelines:
Step 1:
The class stands in a circle. The teacher stands in the middle.
Step 2:
The teacher points to a student while saying elephant, tree or goal keeper.
The student that is selected does the corresponding movement together with two students on the left and right of her/him
The elephant:
The student in the middle makes an elephant trunk with his/her arms. The two students next to him/her make elephant ears with their arms.
The tree:
The three students put their arms over their heads and wave them from left to right.
The goal keeper:
The student in the middle jumps up as if he/she catches a high ball. The students next to him/her form the goal behind him/her.
