Meditation (5 mins)

Goals of activity:
To create a warm and loving atmosphere

Activity guidelines:
Step 1:
Let the students sit on their chair with their eyes closed. Tell them to relax and make sure that they are comfortable.
Step 2:
Tell the students to think of themselves as a healthy, happy and loving person. The students must try to see themselves that way in their mind.
Step 3:
Ask the students to think of a person that needs love. Send a loving message to this person in your mind.
Step 4:
Let the students think of the world as a place filled with love.
Step 5:
Ask the students to slowly open their eyes and greet the student next to them.

Tips:

  • Give the students some time to envision each step.
  • Talk slowly and softly.
  • Repeat each step a couple of times.
  • Make sure that the students feel comfortable enough to sit with their eyes closed.
