Activity guidelines
Step 1:
All students stand in a circle.
Instruct everyone that they are going to pass around an imaginary little bird from hand to hand. The bird is small and scared and you have to be very careful of him.
Step 2:
Start yourself by handing very gently the little bird into the hands of the student beside you. Each student in turn should pass the bird to the student next to them, The whole way around the circle.
When the bird comes back to you, you can let the bird fly away.

If you have time, ask the students how it felt.
